A call to action button is what turns users into customers. It is the button that increases your sales. Therefore, when it comes to writing a call to action, every business must make sure that it is highly appealing. Without a good CTA, your customers won’t get the motivation to make a purchase or even look at your services. Make it Visible

If the users are unable to see your CTA, then it is completely useless. If you really want to make your products or services sell or make the users take an action, then you need to make your CTA visible. The CTA button should have a color that is not used on the entire page, but it shouldn’t be dull. The color should be bright and easily visible. The text should also be easily readable, and the button should be positioned where it can easily catch the visitors’ attention.

Convey a Clear Message

If you are trying to sell a certain product or are offering a discount, then make it clear in the CTA. Do not try to mislead the visitors by telling them something that they won’t find after clicking the CTA. The CTA should be on point and should give away the right message to the visitors so that when they click on it, they don’t feel disappointed or cheated.

Make it Sound Urgent

When you are trying to sell something, it is important that you play with your customers’ minds in a smart way. A good way to make the visitors click on your CTA button is to instill a sense of urgency. Give them a limited time offer so that they are forced to take an action. When a visitor looks at your CTA button, they might take an action or not, and if they don’t, they might never pay attention to it ever again. So, you have just one chance at making them click on it, and when you tell them that they can avail a discount if they order till 10 pm, then they might feel the urge of clicking it.

Keep it Simple

Adding complex words into your CTA is not going to make your customers perform an action. Instead, this will make them drive farther away. Therefore, when you are writing a CTA, make sure that it is in layman’s terms. You can sue catchy adjectives, but they should be easily understandable by the audience that you are targeting or else it will lose its purpose. You also need to make the next step easy for the customers. If there is a huge form waiting to be filled after they click the CTA, then they might just leave the page in panic.

 

If you want to sell to your customers, then you need to make sure that your CTA is outstanding. Without a compelling CTA, there is no chance that your visitors will convert.
