Wellness programs are specially curated programs that help improve employee’s mental, emotional and physical health as well. Moreover, these programs work with a business to help boost productivity. Happier and healthier employees are not only more productive and invested in their work, but they also tend to be less likely to be absent and suffer from health-related problems.

Not as Popular as they should be

Despite all the benefits that wellness programs have to offer, they aren’t as popularly utilized as they should be. However, with such shining examples as Google and Apple about how businesses can grow when they invest in their people, it appears that wellness programs aren’t going to be forgotten any time soon.

As far as the modern work environment goes, it is obvious to see the benefits of investing in their workforce. Even the data backs up this trend; businesses with a good, strong corporate culture end up having turnover rates that are a mere 13.9% in comparison to the 48.8% that most businesses have.
