How Your Corporate Culture Reflects On Your Marketing

For businesses nowadays, having a corporate culture is a necessary thing. While big companies have a definite corporate culture established it is necessary for even small companies, particularly startups to reflect their company’s culture. For many, the corporate culture is closely linked to the brand image and the marketing practices of a particular company.

Gives Your Company a Voice

Most companies have a definite voice or tone that helps make them memorable. A good example of this is Denny’s or Taco Bell’s Twitter account. The person managing it has a good sense of humor but also manages to inject Denny’s values into their answer as well. The result is a humorous and witty personality. Even though people know that it isn’t an actual person, the tweets it gives out has helped to improve Denny’s visibility and even made it possible for them to interact with their target audience in a positive manner.

Strengthens Your Brand

When you want to strengthen your brand, showcasing your corporate culture is one of the best ways to do that. Your team is the core strength behind your brand so it makes sense that you will showcase them. Google is a good example of this. Renowned for their creativity and their ability to think out of the box, they have offices that reflect this aspect too. The perks they have to offer and the benefits their employees get from them as well as the freedom to innovate solidifies Google’s brand as one for creativity and innovation.

Makes You Relatable

The corporate culture is also relatable and is one way through which a business manages to instill a connection between a business and its target audience. Not only that, but it also helps to make the organization appear relatable. Microsoft, Facebook, and Apple are big examples of this aspect. All three were started by men who were so stubborn and single-minded in their goal that they did not stop until they turned their dream into reality.  Their determination and dedication are what truly made these people stand out and dedicate their work to the people who aim for things similar to them.

Makes Your Consumers Fall in Love

As human beings, it is an odd trait that we love our possessions. Whether society is materialistic or it is simply a human vice, we cannot help adoring objects and your corporate culture can help to trigger this in your consumers. Apple and Google are good examples of where corporate culture has led to good faith in the products as well. Whether they’re releasing cell phones, tablets, laptops or more, there is a strong belief in their ability to innovate and produce amazing products.

For Apple’s followers, the belief is so strong that it has caused an almost cult-like following and their buyers take pride in sporting Apple products. This has led to Apple slowly hiking up the price of their iPhone and Macbooks. Recently, the Apple 7 earned Apple around $78.4 billion. This happened despite the fact that people complained that the product was too overpriced or not good enough.
