Boosting Conversions Through Guerrilla Marketing

Guerilla marketing, in simple words, is a low cost or no cost approach to marketing. While it may sound too good to be true, guerilla marketing is one of the most effective strategies to boost conversions or sales. That being said, guerilla marketing does require you to create promotional strategies that allow you to capture the target market, which believe me, is difficult if you are on a low cost budget. However, using these three techniques, you can make sure that your products are able to boost conversions while operating on a low budget.

Advertisement Campaign

All you need is an average computer, an answering machine, and a good printer to start your advertisement campaigns without having to pay for billboards and space. To get started, use the cheapest form of promotion available today, flyers. For guerilla marketers, the best approach here is to produce enticing flyers that encourage the target market to take action. Distribute the flyers to all mailboxes that are within reach or your geographical target market. Make sure the flyers highlight what you offer and must include your contact information. Along with it, you can also offer free coupons, discounts, and other promotions to encourage conversions.

The next promotional tactic is posters, which you can set up on public spaces, malls with free bulletin boards, and so on. Posters are a hit or miss technique as their effectiveness comes down to their visibility. Hence, you shouldn’t be discouraged if your posters don’t generate any sorts of leads. This is why your prime focus should be on flyers.

Add Value

Value additions are the most significant selling points for your business. On paper, value additions may seem similar to discounts and promotions, but they are different in many ways. For instance, value additions are aimed to promote customer satisfaction while increasing the gap between your business and your competitors.

In this regard, value additions can include discounts for repeat customers, guarantees, referral rewards, and special discounts after buying or consuming a certain amount of the products or services. Value addition is generally the deciding factor that encourages the consumer to try your products or services rather than your competitors’. That being said, if your value additions don’t offer enough ‘value’ to the end user, then you might as well lose your market to your competitors.

Online Marketing

While there are many other guerilla marketing techniques that follow value additions, online marketing is definitely one of the most cost-effective approaches. Creating a website for your business today is not as expensive or difficult as it was a decade ago.

In fact, you can register a domain for a year and get a high quality website created under $150, probably even less if you explore available options properly. When making a website, make sure that it is centered on boosting conversions. For creating brand image and a referral network, use social media channels like Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter, among others. Social media and your website may not provide quick returns, but over time, you will be able to build a brand image on which your business can flourish. And all that in a wallet friendly budget too!
