We have turned success into a visible performance.
It is measured, displayed, compared, optimized, and broadcast. Titles, numbers, milestones, growth curves, follower counts, exits.
But none of these tells us whether a life is coherent.
They tell us whether a life is impressive.
The rebellion is not to reject success, but to redefine it internally before accepting it externally.
To ask:
Does this success make me more myself, or less?
Does it deepen my integrity, or just my reputation?
Does it expand my life, or only my workload?
Quiet rebellion is succeeding without becoming owned by the symbols of success.
It is letting success serve the human, not the other way around.
